Connor McLaughlin practices in the Traverse City office of Hackney Grover and litigates across the state of Michigan. Connor’s practice includes commercial disputes, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, No-Fault claims and coverage litigation, and professional licensing and discipline matters. Prior to joining the firm, Connor clerked for Hon. Brian S. Pickell of Michigan’s Seventh Judicial Circuit in Flint, where he drafted opinions and orders and managed a busy docket.

Connor earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with honors from Grove City College in 2015, with a minor in Economics. After college, Connor attended and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2018. During law school, he interned with a Fortune 500’s in-house litigation department and competed in moot court and mock trial competitions.

Connor now lives in Traverse City, where he enjoys hiking and sailing. His favorite law-related movie is A Few Good Men.
